Lovely Antique Mirror with filigree Ornamentation. .

This lovely mirror is decorated at the centre top and the lower borders with filigree that looks to me like brass. The decorative frame is of the same metal, and the backing is a very pretty paisley type pattern in a silver metal. The mirror itself has a small chip in the glass at the lower right, and the right-hand filigree is slightly different from the left. I imagine that it fell off the wall at some point. I think that is part of the character of antiques, but other might disagree. It remains a very pretty thing, perfect for an entranceway, above a dresser, or on a small wall. Size = 25cm x 38cm, 25cm x 48cm with decoration We are moving and travelling very light, and there is no rooms for antique mirrors - however pretty - in the rucksack. So it must go.
